Today, our community came together to support the preservation of Kingsmead Green, a beloved green space in our neighbourhood. People of all ages, including our furry friends from Kingsmead, Oxley, Westcroft, and Tattenhoe, gathered to show their support. The event gained the attention of ITV News, where some of our residents and Councillor Muzammil spoke about our mission to stop the H6 extension and save the green space.
We are grateful to everyone who played a part in making this event a success, from organisers to attendees. With over 500 signatures on our petition, we have demonstrated our shared vision for the future of Kingsmead. The weather was perfect, adding to the joy and positivity in the air.
Our fight to safeguard Kingsmead is far from over, and we must continue to stand together in our shared objective.
