Petition for 20MPH in Oxley Park

This is an update on the Oxley Park 20MPH petition that was presented to the council in July 2023. Councillor Lauren Townsend, who is the Cabinet Member for Public Realm and Community Safety, has informed me that the scheme has been scheduled for consultation. If there are no objections, the implementation will take place in the first quarter of 2024-2025.

I want to extend my gratitude to all the residents who supported and encouraged the petition. I understand that the process can be time-consuming and appreciate your patience.

Please find attached (Annex A) the document shared by MKCC on the process for speed limits and (Annex B) the matrix of scoring.
